The Parts Certificate When certifying series produced retro-fitting parts on vehicles, only certificates for design approval, EG or ECE – can be prepared. The pre-requisite for preparing this certificate is fulfilling the conditions for the production and series supervision of such parts, as is set out in the respective specifications(quality assurance system, verification, initial assessment of manufacturer, etc...).
